The MIT400/2 Series enhances insulation testing capabilities with feedback-controlled test voltage, limiting overvoltage to 2% instead of the industry standard 10% to 20%. Additionally, a variable range has been added, allowing for any intermediate voltage between 50 V and 1000 V in 10 V steps to meet application-specific test voltage requirements not listed in the standard range.

Overview

The Megger Insulation Resistance Tester MIT430/2 is a versatile and high-performance testing instrument in the MIT400/2 series, suitable for a wide range of electrical testing applications.

Diverse Test Functions

Insulation Testing: Offers insulation test voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V. It features a variable output range adjustable in 10V steps from 10V to 1000V, with an insulation resistance measuring range up to 200GΩ.
Continuity Testing: The range is 0.01Ω - 999kΩ (0 - 1000kΩ on analogue scale). Test currents can be set to 200mA or 20mA. Includes lead zero compensation and auto-hold functions.
Voltage & Frequency: Measures AC voltage from 10mV to 600V trms (40Hz to 400Hz) and DC voltage from 0 to 600V. Frequency measurement range is 45Hz - 450Hz.

Special & Diagnostic Functions

PI & DAR: Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) functions evaluate insulation condition and detect defects.
Limit Alarms: Set pass/fail limit alarms to quickly judge whether test results meet requirements.
Data Management: Equipped with Bluetooth to download test results to a PC. Features an onboard storage capacity of more than 1000 test results.
