Custom Megger DLRO10X digital low resistance micro-ohmmeters Supplier, Products

The DLRO10 and DLRO10X digital low resistance micro-ohmmeters bring new standards to low resistance measurement (also known as the Megger ‘Ducter™’ test). Both are fully automatic instruments, selecting the most suitable test current, up to 10 A DC, to measure resistance from 0.1 µΩ to 2000 Ω on one of seven ranges.

Product Description

Product Overview

The Megger DLRO10X is a digital low-resistance micro-ohmmeter that sets a new standard for low-resistance measurement.

Measurement Features

  • Resistance Range: Seven ranges are available, ranging from 0.1 µΩ to 2000 Ω, with a basic accuracy of ±0.2%.
  • Test Current: The instrument operates fully automatically, selecting the most appropriate test current up to 10 A DC. The user can also manually select the test current via a menu system controlled by a dual-axis paddle.

Operating Modes

  • Normal Mode: After connecting the leads, press the "Test" button on the front panel to begin the test. The system automatically checks the continuity of all four connections and automatically applies forward and reverse currents.
  • Auto Mode: Four probes are used to test the connected sample with forward and reverse currents, then the average value is displayed. This mode is ideal for use with a capstan.
  • Continuous Mode: Multiple measurements can be taken on the same sample. Simply connect the test leads and press the test button. The test results will automatically refresh every 3 seconds until the circuit is broken.
  • Inductive Mode: Designed for measuring inductive samples. When testing inductive samples, the instrument will wait for the voltage to stabilize before taking measurements.
  • Unidirectional Mode: Applies current in only one direction during testing. This mode does not eliminate residual electromotive force, but it can speed up the test process.

Features & Benefits

  • Display: The large backlit LCD display is clearly visible in all lighting conditions, helping to reduce reading errors.
  • Noise & EMF Handling: Automatically applies forward and reverse current to cancel any static voltage on the sample being tested and checks for excessive noise during measurement.
  • Continuity Check: Automatically checks the continuity of potential and current connections to prevent erroneous readings.
  • Data Management: Results can be downloaded in real time and have onboard memory for later downloading to a computer. Includes an onboard keyboard to add notes of up to 200 characters.
  • Safety & Portability: Safety rating of CAT III 600 V, fuse-protected. Rugged, lightweight housing designed to be worn around the neck.

Power Supply

  • Battery Type: Rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack with built-in battery status indicator.
  • Charging Time: Full charge takes approximately 4 hours. Fast-charging mode charges to 90% in approximately 2.5 hours using the included mains charger or a 12V battery.
