Product Description

Overview
14-bit resolution is provided by the R&S®HMF series arbitrary function generators, which operate at 25 MHz and 50 MHz, respectively, at 250 MSample/s. With an 8 ns rise time and a 9 cm QVGA-TFT display.
In addition to common waveforms such as sine, rectangle, and triangle (symmetry 1–99%), the R&S®HFM2525 and R&S®HFM2550 provide customers robust arbitrary sine programming. Users have the option of selecting from a wide variety of pre-defined signal forms, such as sin(x)/x, white, or pink noise, or they can utilize custom, arbitrary curve shapes with a bandwidth of up to 25/50 MHz and a signal length of up to 256 kPts. With the supplied PC software, arbitrary waveforms can be created and then sent to the instrument via the HO720 interface or, in CSV format, the front-side USB port.
Additionally, waveforms can be imported using the free HMExplorer program or loaded from a USB memory stick via the front USB connection.
